Mid-Atlantic Basketball Camp

West Chester University, South Campus
Registration will be from 4:30 PM until 5:15 PM, then until approximately 9:30 PM we will instructing all of the officials in 2 person mechanics, 3 person mechanics, signals/presentation to table, court situations/rules knowledge of plays, and live scrimmages with the WCU men's basketball team. On the 8th of October it will be all games from 8 AM until approx 9 PM on 4 to 6 courts at WCU south campus and north campus. We have tried to design the camp so that absences from work will be minimized, and also to teach and absorb on Friday night, then apply during your games on Saturday.
Attached please find a Registration Form. Please pass this along to any other officials who you think may have an interest in attending. Because we are limited to the number of available spots, we will take registrations on a first come, first serve basis as to when the registration is PAID. I would challenge anyone to find a camp that will teach you more and offer you the opportunity to get in front of many local assignors for the small investment that is being asked. Also, NOW is the time to start working on your rules knowledge as well as your physical conditioning, not October 6th! Many assignments are acquired in the summer and fall, so if you waiting until December you will be too late!
